No Model 18 Leslie ever had a 1/4" jack from the factory. There should be a small metal chassis with the following facing the "outside world": A 5 pole male Leslie connector, power switch, pilot lamp, fuse holder, and a "grip" that holds the power cord. Facing the interior of the cabinet there should be a 5 pole female socket, into which a 5 pole plug is inserted. That 5 pole plug has wires that run to the motors and speaker.

Since the unit is modified, I have no way to know for sure what you need. I might be able to determine this if you send me some pictures of the inside and outside of the metal box. You can send them to ted@speakeasyvintagemusic.com and I'll try to figure it out.

Yes it will operate your 145, cutoff the internal sim, and that 11 pin connection will be the only one you need.

I have been using a Hammond XB2 (version 2) in place of my "3" because most of the stages have limited room. The XB2 is being run through a Leslie 145 by way of the 1/4" line out jack. The problem is; I need to disable the internal leslie and by what I have read, the internal leslie is only disabled by using the 11 pin output. By using the SE-PSV1147 interface with the 11 pin output for conversion over to 6 pin, will a pre-amp be necessary or does the XB2 send a pre-amped signal through the 11 pin output. I will purchase the interface if it will work.

Thank you for a speedy reply.

Sincerely,
Steve Davis
