Speakeasy Introduces the next generation of our "Submon" subwoofer for Hammond organs.
This latest version takes a good idea even further. First, the cabinets are now being made by OUR cabinet maker, which means that like the Roadbox, it's built with pattern grade plywood and oak cleats and bracing. It comes with removable casters for easy moving, and feet for when you won't be moving it around.
The best part about this system is that now it is totally "plug and Play". You simply unplug the original Leslie™ cable and plug it into our Subwoofer. Then run another cable from the subwoofer to the Leslie™.
Now, the Leslie™ will seem like 2, because we remove the bass frequencies from it, so you can crank it higher without distortion!
Our subwoofer has a power switch to completely shut it off, but also goes in "Standby" mode automatically in the absence of any audio (There is a 5 to 10 min turn off delay, turn on is instantaneous).
Now you can easily install, or even demo, the subwoofer as there is no need to install any parts inside the organ.

 " ... Without the pull of the bass notes on the amp, the 122 screamed and I had mo bass than you could ever want. The sub also helped fill out the lower tones of the Hammond with the crossover set to 160 Hz. You would be surprised at the tonal parts of the major playing area that are below that frequency."
