We do custom work, made to order. If we can’t do it, it can’t be done!
In the gallery below you can see where we added a new low E note to a Nord keyboard, and where we constructed a Rhodes™ shaped keyboard stand for another Nord owner using all new parts and materials.
Now these customers have it exactly how THEY want it, and we can do the same for you. Talking is free, so give us a call with what ever idea you have @ 717.292.0814 and we’ll put our considerable engineering talents to work for you!

I’d love to have something else than Toys’R'Us drawbars on the Electro!

We sure can, however since we don’t have one here on the shelf, we’d need yours to take measurements and do the fitting. Somewhat like going to the tailor and having a suit made.
As for the ping, if it’s truly a “ping” sound, my first suspicion would be that you have a tube that’s gone microphonic and needs to be replaced. This can easily happen to even new tubes if they are jarred the wrong way, especially if they are hot. The tube would be a 12AU7 (ECC82) type.

Hello – I have a Speakeasy Pre-amp, Nord C1 and Nord Electro 3-73.
The Electro is so light that it doesn’t work too well on most stands. Can you make a stand/case like the Rhodes case pictured on your custom mods pages for the NE3-73 If so, how much does it weigh and cost?
Also, is there a way to turn off the “ping” sound that my pre-amp makes when I turn on the Leslie via the speakeasy.

Actually the market just isn’t there for mass production of the idea using original parts, BUT http://www.oceanbeachdigital.com/Site/Home.html has a very nice looking piece and I think it does have the Merge built in.

That would be nice.
Right now I’m using the Voce Midi Drawbars through a Midi Solutions Event Processor to a Nord Stage Compact.
Nice to play with but a lot of Midi cabling..
When I use a 2nd controller (2nd manual) with the Nord, add a Midi Merge as well. Maybe incorporating a Merge on your Drawbar unit would be an idea.

I would buy it! I know 3 others who would as well.

I agree — I would definitely want one of these — especially if it were designed in a way that it looked like it was part of the organ (seamless integration and not some big, clunky add-on). Maybe 9V battery powered, too — or at least an IEC power cord (no wall wart)…

A drawbar solution for the Nord would rock – I’m in the same boat and would love a simple way instead of having to deal with monstrous MIDI connections.

We have been considering it. The idea at this point is to use actual vintage drawbars and encode them so that they directly interface with the nord – no “translation” box needed as with some other MIDI drawbars that are out there.
Get some friends in here to leave their comments, and we might move forward with it. ^_^ After all, that’s the sort of thing we’re here for, if you guys need it, we’ll make it.

I read on your page that you are working with Nord. Is there any chance you’ll offer an accessory for their terrific C1 so that we can have B3 type drawbars? this is a near perfect instrument, particularly with your preamp and a leslie, but navigating those buttons mid-song is a mess.

Thanks, Ted. Makes sense to me

Not really. A D model being a BC in the “Church” cabinet has no vibrato and no provisions for it to be split between Swell and Great/Pedal as is on a B3/A100/C3.
However, if you are not concerned with Vibrato/Vibrato Chorus, and what you are thinking of is Percussion, that can be done. We can also switch the drawbars out from the Ratchet type to the Smooth type found on later models.
However, this would be an expensive propsistion, and you’d probably be better off finding a B3 or A100 then upgrading a D to be “not quite” like a B3.

Hell,
Can a D series Hammond be converted to an A100 or B3? If so, how and what would it cost? THanks,
Bill
