[Ordering Info]

It is VERY unlikely that we would have this model available.

[Description]

The Rhodes MkIII or more properly MkIII EK-10 is a MkII Stage 73 with a built in synthesizer, or more accurately built in filters and modulators since it uses the Rhodes tines as it’s tone source.

Few were sold here in the US, and Japan it is said that an incident where a local TV broadcast caused Japanese TV sets to explode resulted in a whole shipment of MkIIIs being dumped into Tokyo Bay. We can only speculate that less then stellar performance as a synthesizer coupled with the higher price of the model resulted in it apparently becoming the “White Elephant” of the product line.

Very few examples survive today.
