I have a Speakeasy MKIII Roadbox. The belt has been slipping off the upper rotor. I assume I need a replacement belt. Is the Order no: LESUB what I need?
Thanks,
Craig

Remove the back and you should have a replacement right inside in a plastic bag. If not (early cabinets didn’t have this courtesy) contact us again (steve@speakeasyvintagemusic.com)

Hi I love your company’s commitment to vintage musical equipment, classic sound, and musicians like myself.
OK, first I am a professional Canadian Keyboard player / electronic technician. I purchased your Speakeasy B3 Vintage Preamp Pedal “clone” version and I love it! As you know it has the 1/4″ mono line level input to 1/4″ line level output. I was using a Korg CX3 new version with it but I’ve subsequently upgraded to a Nord C1 “wow”. I also own a Motion Sound Pro3T and so modded the pedal up with Leslie on off and stop switches. I as well own a Hammond Leslie 122 (pre-Suzuki) and I would like to use it with your preamp pedal.
My question is would you sell me the mod kit and schematics for the pedal? If so at what price, including S/H to Canada? I would wire it up myself and of course be responsible with lead dress and the high voltages inherent inside. As the warranty has expired it is not an issue. Thank you for your time, Speakeasy Rocks!!

I’m sure you could easily complete such an upgrade if we had a kit, but we don’t, and as such it would be a considerable trouble to put one together. Add to that the fact that there were some changes along the line that improved quality or enhanced reliability – AND that these updates are FREE for only the cost of shipping and handling and the prudent route becomes clear. Simply send it back to us.
The UPDATES will be free, the 122 UPGRADE will cost the same price as if you ordered it that way. At the moment that’s $135.00 USD.

If I’ll bought a chopped organ ( american power 117 /60hz ) and I would use it in Europe ( 220/50) it will be enough a power down transformer ( from 220 to 110) or will be necessary a frequency convert too ??
February 6th, 2010 at 1:38 pm
You’ll need a frequency converter. Stepping down the power will also be needed, but if that’s all you do, the organ will play about 4 or 5 semitones flat.

I have a Rhodes Mark V that had bad hammer combs. I’ve replaced the combs, but there are two missing hammers that were gone when I got the instrument. These are different than hammers from earlier series – the geometry is slightly different and there is no felt on the bottoms (the felt is on the key instead.
Do you have any Mark V hammers available for sale?
Thanks in advance

No, as a model that had a very limited number built we haven’t had the need to reproduce the Hammers, and the units we have in stock are in excellent condition so we won’t be parting them out.
