My name is Mark Nixon and I spoke to you earlier this week. I have been researching the situation and am now ready to proceed with a solution/.
I have a new Roland Fantom G8 and it is a great keyboard, but the organ sounds are not. The Leslie sim is terrible. So I wonder if the solution at the top of this page is a good solution for me.
I believe it includes a new Nord Stage 88 keyboard, and the 2 custom 15 inch speaker cabinets as well as the amp.
Could I possibly substitute another NORD keyboard, such as the Nord Stage EX 88 (new model), or the Nord Stage 73 Compact (I like the waterfall keys for organ, not the weighted keys). Eventually, I would like to add a flat pack leslie combo, so would want to include any plugs or other adjustment in the rig so this could be accomplished in the future.
Could you please give me your thoughts about the best keyboard and amp at this time?
I think I would need the power of the Gig Rig II – what is the cost of this?
Please feel free to call me later today or tomorrow and discuss. Cell is 850-766-XXXX. Work is 850-922-XXXX.
Thank you advance for your assistance and I look forward to a custom SOLUTION.

After watching a vid on youtube, comparing a B-3 with a Nord C-1, I will make my next keyboard a Nord. What I need to know, will the electro-2 sound identical to the C-1 dual keyboard? That is the organ selections. Thank you for your time and I look forward to your response…………..

An Electro 2 does not sound like the C1, it’s a different technology. According to Nord the Electro 3 is supposed to be the same as the C1, but I haven’t heard one.

Hi Steve, we’ve exchanged e-mails recently, I’ve got a Yamaha Motif ES-61 (also imported K-Sounds “Organimation” Voice Library, with some unbelievable B-3-Leslie sounds, etc., and have a Motion-Sound KPS-200 Stereo Amp., I’ve had Leslie Speakers (RS-147, 125′s, etc.), and am still searching for a replacement, something lightweight, that has a dual-rotor system, or something comparible,,what system, or combination would you recommend; a single cab with an upper horn and lower spinning bass, etc., most of my keyboard sounds are either B-3/Leslie organ, and misc piano (electric-clav) patches,,Thx again, Bill Harris organ

If you want dual rotor, real moving air, then the Roadbox Compact is the most portable model. Give Steve a call and he can direct you to the right rig for your needs. 717-292-0814
